One Room Kitchen – Helen’s First Marathi Movie

Helen, one of the popular dancers in the Bollywood, is now planning to debut in Marathi film industry. The actress, who has shared her screen space with some of the biggest stars in India, will appear in “One Room Kitchen” along with Bharat Jadhav and Bhargavi Chirmule.

Directed by Mahesh Tilekar, the film will show the true story of today’s middle class family and their dream of living in a single room flat. It has been produced by Purushottam Agarwal and will be released under the banner of Sai Siddhi Motion Pictures on December 16, 2011.

Dr. Shreeram Lagoo will also play a cameo role after nine long years.

The songs of this movie have been composed by Ashok Patki and have been sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Bela Shende. Mahesh Tilekar, the director of the film, has also worked as lyricist, screenplay and story writer.
